We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for an immediate, full-time temp-to-perm opportunity with one of our clients in the Clearwater area. This position offers long-term potential, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role and hybrid flexibility once converted.

Position Overview

The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states for a large employee population. This role requires a high level of accuracy, compliance knowledge, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume, multi-state payroll in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage payroll for large employee populations (1000+ employees preferred)
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Maintain and update payroll records, deductions, and tax withholdings
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
  • Partner with HR and accounting teams for reporting and reconciliations
  • Assist with audits and ensure proper payroll documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience processing high-volume, multi-state payroll
  • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or Paylocity
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background processing payroll for 1,000+ employees
  • Advanced reporting or payroll system optimization experience
